Ingredients
- 2 to 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 75g (1/3 cup) melted butter
- 200g (1 cup) sugar (adjust to your taste)
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 190g (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
Instructions:
1.Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
2.Mash the bananas in a large bowl with a fork until smooth.
3.Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
4.Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture. Stir in the flour until just incorporated (don’t overmix).
5.Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
6.Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7.Let the banana bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
